For our Game Share, the group chose the early Crash Bandicoot trilogy in general, which are Crash Bandicoot (1996), Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (1997), & Crash Bandicoot Warped (1998).
The story of the games are actually quite simple, players would have to control the franchise’s main hero, Crash Bandicoot, and make their way through each level while fulfilling requirements to reach & stop the games main villain, Dr. Neo Cortex.
The reason for why these games were chosen for our Game Share is because they helped push & encourage the gaming culture to make games where players would not only move left & right, but also forward and back. It is relatable to our studies because of the experiences they gave players, which were unusual & relatively new senses of explicit interactivity.
